KEPLER REVIEW:
Jenny Lewis & The Watson Twins - Rabbit Fur Coat
Rabbit Fur Coat is the easiest record to listen to of 2006. Part of this ease comes from the utter beauty of the Watson Twins backing vocals but more importantly Lewis sings right at the listener with utter abandon and confidence. "Rise Up With Fists" is also one of the year's best singles. This record zooms by in an instant, its momentum marred only by a tiresome cover of the Traveling Wilbury's "Handle With Care" that features distracting vocals from Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard and Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst.
